Mukwel E. Aiyuk, CPA, CMA, FCCA – Principal
Mukwel Aiyuk has over 30 years of experience in tax planning and preparation, managerial & financial consulting, and auditing. He has extensive experience in the private and public sectors and is well versed with the intricacies in many industries including real estate, medical practice, home health, construction, retail, automotive, distribution, nonprofit, etc. Mukwel worked for the Nevada Department of Taxation as a sales/use tax auditor and for two regional CPA firms before starting his own practice.
He graduated from the University of Yaoundé, Cameroon in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics and from the School of Administration and Magistracy Yaoundé, Cameroon in 1986. As a Grad Special at the University of Nevada, Reno he took courses in individual taxation, corporate taxation, auditing, financial accounting I & II, business law, governmental accounting, etc., which enabled him to sit and pass all sections of the uniform CPA exams. He qualified as an Associate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), U.K. in 1992 and became a Fellow of the Association (FCCA) in 1997.
He is a certified public accountant (CPA) in the state of Nevada and in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He qualified as a certified management accountant (CMA) with the Institute of Management Accountant (IMA) in 2004.
He enjoys world affairs, reading, traveling, sports, running, music, the outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends.
